School closed Friday 23rd July 2010


Wednesday 1st September – Staff training. School closed to pupils.

Thursday 2nd September – Year 7 normal time, Years 8–11 from 11.30am (for period 3)

Friday 3rd September – Normal school day for all pupils.

Closure days for Staff time in lieu – Friday 26th November, Monday 29th November and Friday 28th January.

Extra INSET days – Monday 28th February and Friday 1st July. School closed to pupils.

Moving forward together!

As we end this academic year we can be proud of the progress we continue to make at Hillcrest School. The House system has gone from strength to strength culminating in a highly competitive Sports day at the end of June. The whole school went to William Parker’s Athletics arena where over 60% of the students took part.

They were cheered on by students and staff wearing House colours and even blowing red, orange or yellow vuvuzelas! It was great to see so many parents there supporting the competitors. read more ...
